4:16 Speaker 6: And welcome back, Ricky Mapleton.

4:20 Speaker 7: Thank you.

4:21 Speaker 6: What is it, Six Timers Club now?

4:23 Speaker 7: I believe so, sir. I was reminiscing about that last night, thinking how many years I've been coming on the show now.

4:29 Speaker 8: Yes.

4:30 Speaker 7: It seems like only yesterday that I came on the first time.

4:33 Speaker 6: We were worried, or you were worried. I knew you'd find a way to get here. But, of course, there's the big race. Actually, if I put the camera on, for those watching online, if I put on that camera, you can see on the big screen in back of me, wow, there's a lot of people. It looks like some people are running this particular race. I believe it's a 5K in Halloween costumes. I see a pumpkin, a running pumpkin. You never expect to see that. That's crazy.

5:00 Speaker 7: Look at that. There's just masses of people running down. What is that? Is that Canal Street? What are they heading up?

5:07 Speaker 6: I just hope I'm not mistaken and this is an actual 5K and these people aren't running away from something terrible that's happening that we should know about.

5:16 Speaker 7: If you put some sort of apocalypse What's the word I'm talking about? Apocalyptic? Yes, that word, Matt. Thank you. Yes. It would look like they would be running from Godzilla or some sort of... Matt, what's your thoughts on running long distances?

5:35 Speaker 6: Oh, I like to run.

5:36 Speaker 9: Really?

5:37 Speaker 6: Yes, I'm a big fan, actually.

5:38 Speaker 7: It looks like there may be a sale at one of our local distributors. That could be. I don't know. There's a lot could be going on there. This is just amazing to sit here and watch these people running... On the Matt Connaughton radio broadcast.

5:52 Speaker 10: I know.

5:52 Speaker 7: Wow.

5:52 Speaker 6: It is amazing. Well, I should mention.

5:54 Speaker 7: It is kind of distracting, but it's really cool. Yeah, yeah.

5:57 Speaker 6: Our very own Kyle Heavey, who, of course, hosts Off the Mark Sports here at WMNH. He is in the race today, so we might see him this morning. Perhaps he'll pop in, but he is running in this race.

6:09 Speaker 7: There's somebody with another pumpkin. There's two pumpkin runners right there.

6:15 Speaker 4: Yeah.

6:15 Speaker 7: They're more walking than running.

6:17 Speaker 11: Yeah.

6:18 Speaker 7: Does it matter?

6:18 Speaker 6: I've never seen a pumpkin with legs.

6:21 Speaker 7: It's only on the Matt Connaughton radio broadcast. Can you have this play-by-play? Why isn't there an actual play-by-play? I mean, me and you, we could do the whole thing on this right here.

6:33 Speaker 12: Yeah.

6:34 Speaker 6: Oh, I see a dog. Yeah, I don't know if we really could. Well, I think you overestimate our abilities to do that.

6:41 Speaker 7: Okay, fair enough. Thanks for grounding me.

6:44 Speaker 6: Okay, so however, interestingly enough, you are trying to get a job in radio, if I'm not mistaken.

6:50 Speaker 7: Yes, I am.

6:51 Speaker 6: You've sent us a clip, a bit of an audition, if you will. And by the way, a great time to get into radio because it is an ever-expanding industry.

6:59 Speaker 7: Well, thank you for trying to get my foot in the proverbial door. I am living out one of my. Dreams, one of my bucket list, by continuing to be creative, Matt, just like you. Yes, yes. And I think that's really the message that I'm trying to portray or give out.

7:22 Speaker 6: If the radio thing doesn't work out, you can always just do a podcast because everyone does a podcast now.

7:27 Speaker 7: No, no.

7:27 Speaker 6: You've never had a podcast?

7:29 Speaker 7: No.

7:29 Speaker 6: You will at some point.

7:31 Speaker 7: Well, isn't this kind of a podcast?

7:32 Speaker 6: It's legally required. Well, it is. It is. I mean, we're a radio show. We're on a live radio station. However— But what's the difference? However, we're also streaming. You know, that is kind of how I think of it, because everything's sort of congealed into one thing now. It's all content. Because while we are broadcasting on the FM radio here in Manchester, we are also streaming. And then, of course, after the live show is over, you can get the show as a podcast, downloadable and streamable and all of that.

7:58 Speaker 6: So it's both. Everything is both now. Everything is all things. And all things are everything.

8:04 Speaker 9: Wow.

8:05 Speaker 6: You like that?

8:06 Speaker 7: You are a linguistic genius. phenomenon.

8:09 Speaker 6: I'm going to put that in a song.

8:10 Speaker 7: Your semantics are beyond reproach.

8:12 Speaker 6: Everything is all things and all things are everything. I think that would look great on a bumper sticker.

8:16 Speaker 7: I think we can write a song about that today.

8:18 Speaker 6: Maybe we could.

8:19 Speaker 7: Maybe we can't, though. Maybe we're overreaching. What did you say? Overreaching our.

8:23 Speaker 6: Overestimating our abilities?

8:25 Speaker 7: Yes. That's a nice blues song, too.

8:27 Speaker 6: Well, we should.

8:28 Speaker 7: Oh, wait a minute. Looking at the thing, somebody there looks to be a skeleton.

8:31 Speaker 6: Is that a ghost?

8:33 Speaker 7: Some sort of ghost has just taken the lead.

8:36 Speaker 6: Wow.

8:37 Speaker 13: Wow.

8:38 Speaker 4: Wow.

8:38 Speaker 7: Okay.

8:40 Speaker 6: I think probably having a run like this, an event like this so close to Halloween might be dangerous because we're mixing all kinds of things.

8:47 Speaker 7: Okay. We seem to have some babies doing very well on the walkers. They seem to be rallying to get into the second place position. Wow.

8:56 Speaker 6: That's a lot of people.

8:57 Speaker 7: Oh, there's two fast pumpkins right there.

9:00 Speaker 6: Two what?

9:00 Speaker 8: Oh.

9:01 Speaker 7: Two pumpkins?

9:01 Speaker 4: Oh, pumpkin.

9:01 Speaker 6: I thought you said two fast punks.

9:04 Speaker 7: So for those, Matt, wow, yeah. Could I intervene here for a second?

9:12 Speaker 11: Sure.

9:13 Speaker 7: I have sponsors today.

9:14 Speaker 6: You do?

9:15 Speaker 7: Yes, and I would like to make a shout out to my sponsors, a garage sale that is happening in Golfstown, New Hampshire on Frost Street across from Hannaford.

9:24 Speaker 9: Uh-huh.

9:26 Speaker 7: I was supposed to be there today.

9:28 Speaker 1: Oh.

9:29 Speaker 7: And then it got, well, the garage sale was actually supposed to be last week. Then we had the rain, so we moved it to this week. And I said, oh, my little iCal, which I'm actually using now. Okay. Good for me, right?

9:42 Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

9:42 Speaker 7: Big step. Big step. And I noticed it was two blue dots on today.

9:47 Speaker 6: Okay.

9:48 Speaker 7: And nervously, I opened it up, and I'm, oh, no, I'm on Matt Connaughton's in the yard sale.

9:53 Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.

9:54 Speaker 7: So that could left quite a dilemma. So I wanna say hello to people at the yard sale today. I told them about this. They should be listening right now. And if anybody goes to the yard sale today, you can get... 75% off. No, I'm Matt.

10:10 Speaker 4: You know what?

10:11 Speaker 7: I'm going 85% off anything on my table.

10:14 Speaker 6: Wow.

10:15 Speaker 7: Oh boy. I shouldn't say that. Cause I got a couple of $ 20 items there. Oh boy.

10:19 Speaker 11: Okay.

10:21 Speaker 6: I would like to screwed.

10:23 Speaker 7: No, no, no. I, this is good. I want to say hello to everybody at the yard sale right now.

10:27 Speaker 6: Okay.

10:27 Speaker 7: And I thought they were kind of, kind of fun. I'm actually talking to, hopefully they're listening.

10:31 Speaker 14: Yeah.

10:32 Speaker 7: Cause I brought this stuff over yesterday.

10:34 Speaker 3: Yeah.

10:35 Speaker 7: Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent.

10:36 Speaker 6: It's quite all right. It's a big event.

10:38 Speaker 7: Well, not as big as me hanging out with Matt Connick and why I'm watching people. Oh, it seems to be.

10:47 Speaker 6: Okay, the guy with the bike is cheating. That's cheating.

10:50 Speaker 7: He's going the wrong way, too.

10:52 Speaker 6: That cop saw him, too. That's probably why he's going the other way. The cop probably said, you can't use a bike.

10:58 Speaker 7: That was the guy that was telling me I couldn't park in the studio because I came in the wrong way because I got hit traffic on the way here because of this.

11:07 Speaker 6: Yeah.

11:07 Speaker 7: Oh, wait a minute. We have a few... Okay, let's focus. Let's focus.

11:10 Speaker 6: Had to do that before. Well, so you have a bit of a... Should we call this an audition tape?

11:14 Speaker 8: Yes.

11:15 Speaker 6: You've got a demo.

11:16 Speaker 7: Yes, thank you.

11:16 Speaker 6: Or a sizzle reel, you could call it. A sizzle reel.

11:20 Speaker 7: I've never heard that before. Yes, yes. I'm too old to sizzle my food.

11:25 Speaker 6: That's an industry term. So let's listen to this.

11:29 Speaker 13: Okay.

11:29 Speaker 6: And if I'm not- And.

11:31 Speaker 7: Mike, could you give me your honest professional opinion?

11:34 Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.

11:35 Speaker 7: And for those listening out there, if you know anybody that is looking for anybody to do voiceovers, which I just recently worked for something called Bad Backyard Wrestling. Really? They actually used me as a client. I actually made some... Are you familiar with Bad Backyard Wrestling? No.

11:53 Speaker 6: I mean, I've seen Backyard Wrestling that's very bad on YouTube.

11:57 Speaker 7: Well, it's called Bad Backyard Wrestling.

11:59 Speaker 6: Okay.

12:00 Speaker 7: And I was contacted through a friend who makes independent movies. And he said, hey, why don't you get a code of Ricky Mapleton? He does background music and some is maybe... So, when it comes to shove... How are we without bad backyard wrestling? How did I get to that point? Help me, Matt. Where are we?

12:20 Speaker 6: Well, I don't know. I mean, are they going to... Will you have to be... Will you be an actual backyard wrestler? Will you be put through a table?

12:26 Speaker 7: No, no, no, no. They took some of my music.

12:29 Speaker 6: Oh, I understand.

12:29 Speaker 7: And they put it in back of why the scenes were running.

12:32 Speaker 6: So you're not going to be... Like, you're not going to be taking a barbed wire bat to the head or anything.

12:37 Speaker 7: I've taken enough earlier in my life.

12:39 Speaker 15: Understood.

12:40 Speaker 7: I've given that up.

12:41 Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah.

12:41 Speaker 7: And now I am fortunate enough to actually have somebody that actually... gave me a few dollars to put some of their music in back of it, and I was shocked.

12:52 Speaker 6: Wow.

12:53 Speaker 7: So if anybody... Okay. Anyways, enough about me. Let's talk about me.

12:57 Speaker 14: Go.

12:57 Speaker 6: So we have this clip, this demo clip, and then this goes into a song?

13:02 Speaker 15: Yes.

13:03 Speaker 7: So, yes. One of my... Something that has traction. Is that the right word I should be using?

13:08 Speaker 6: Traction?

13:09 Speaker 7: Traction in... The music that I put out to try to make people feel good and keep me busy.

13:14 Speaker 6: Oh, okay.

13:15 Speaker 7: I did a whole album last year about donuts.

13:18 Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

13:19 Speaker 6: And I love... Oh, you should get Bill's Donuts to be a sponsor.

13:24 Speaker 8: Oh.

13:24 Speaker 6: At the corner of Elm and Varney.

13:26 Speaker 7: Really?

13:26 Speaker 6: Yeah, we have a... Oh, yeah, right here. Yeah, see?

13:30 Speaker 13: Oh, okay.

13:30 Speaker 6: Bill's Donuts, yeah, you should contact them.

13:33 Speaker 7: Bill, are you listening?

13:35 Speaker 6: Bill Duncan, he always listens.

13:36 Speaker 7: Bill Duncan?

13:37 Speaker 14: Yeah.

13:38 Speaker 6: He calls into the morning show sometimes.

13:40 Speaker 7: Could you relate? I'll give you, what do you get, 10%? If you're my agent?

13:44 Speaker 6: I can't discuss that publicly.

13:46 Speaker 7: I'll give you 50%.

13:46 Speaker 6: That's poor traction.

13:49 Speaker 7: Matt, I will give you something free at the yard sale today.

13:52 Speaker 4: Ooh.

13:52 Speaker 7: If you can line me up. My God. Should I go to Bill's Donuts on the way home?

13:56 Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah.

13:56 Speaker 6: I'm supposed to bring something home today. Elm and Varney, I think. It's right on the corner.

13:59 Speaker 8: No.

14:00 Speaker 7: How is this going to affect the- You won't.

14:01 Speaker 6: Be able to get there today because of the race.

14:03 Speaker 8: See?

14:04 Speaker 6: You'll have to go tomorrow.

14:06 Speaker 7: Yeah, so donuts. Let's talk about donuts.

14:08 Speaker 6: All right. So the album is about donuts.

14:12 Speaker 7: Trouble at the Donut Shop.

14:12 Speaker 6: Trouble at the Donut Shop.

14:13 Speaker 7: 24 donuts, 24 songs celebrating the donut.

14:17 Speaker 6: Okay.

14:17 Speaker 7: And that was made last year. I get a lot of fun feedback from it. I think they're super fun. So this is my audition tape, so I wrapped it around the donut shop. Okay. Introducing that. And I said, let's send it over to Matt last night when I was trying to figure out what to bring here today.

14:36 Speaker 6: Okay.

14:36 Speaker 7: And so these two things sort of wrap around the announcer thing that I did.

14:41 Speaker 6: Yeah.

14:41 Speaker 7: And then if we could just play maybe a couple, maybe 30 seconds or so.

14:47 Speaker 6: Okay.

14:47 Speaker 7: Of each of those two songs.

14:50 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah. Trouble at the Donut Shop. And then what's the other one?

14:53 Speaker 7: The Donut Shop list. Trouble at the Donut Shop is about how the... cd concept began i went to a donut shop uh and uh they were.

15:04 Speaker 6: Sold out yeah that would never happen to bill's donuts.

15:07 Speaker 7: And i you bill would want that to happen yeah but i.

15:11 Speaker 6: Mean he's always got plenty of donuts.

15:12 Speaker 7: Well then why when i went to this particular donut.

15:14 Speaker 6: Shop they were out they didn't have plenty of donuts.

15:17 Speaker 7: And as i was leaving there as i was leaving there i heard in my head Trouble at the donut shop, trouble, trouble. And this is the story embellished of what happens.

15:28 Speaker 4: Oh, okay.

15:28 Speaker 7: If you want to run all the way through that song, there is a story, but it's about two minutes long.

15:33 Speaker 6: Two minutes is, I do want to hear the story.

15:35 Speaker 7: Okay, and then the other one is a list of donuts. I want to make a shout out to this guy I've been kind of, i'm working on some music with uh his name is eyedrop okay and he's kind of what do you say new on the scene if you would but he's into rap oh and he's very cool and he worked on this is one of the first projects i worked on this was the donut list song so you hear this guy called eyedrop and i'm kind of moving i'm trying not moving into but experimenting a little bit more with I don't know, chillin' rap vibe.

16:09 Speaker 7: Faith No More meets Ricky Mapleton meets the universe. Sure, sure.

16:15 Speaker 6: So there we go.

16:16 Speaker 7: Would you mind running the demo?

16:18 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Okay, here it is. I'll give you my honest critique, and then we'll go from this right into the song. Okay, here we go.

16:27 Speaker 7: Here's the kid, the cat, the whiz, the ass. I think I'm not going to have a heart attack. We have a beautiful, beautiful day, and we're on a double play as we're going to play two songs from Ricky Mapleton featuring this guy's favorite thing and probably yours, the donut. So let's do a twofer. First, we're going to have trouble at the donut shop, and then we're going to jump into donut shop list. This is Announcer Guy on the Matt Connaughton Radio Broadcast.

16:56 Speaker 6: By the way, I do like that you say you're not going to have a heart attack. I like the optimism. Oh, and there's more.

17:02 Speaker 7: In the interest of time and possible boredom, we'll be doing short attention span or less is more radio, playing just short bits from the following songs. And don't forget to go down to the fabulous garage show on Frost Street today in lovely Golfstown, New Hampshire. Tell them I sent you. Get anything there for 85% off. Did you call it Golfstown?

17:50 Speaker 8: That would be such a treat. When I saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes. I almost began to cry.

18:01 Speaker 11: Trouble at the donut shop. Trouble at the donut shop. Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble at the donut shop.

18:09 Speaker 8: There was a line around the block. I barely could handle the shock.

18:17 Speaker 4: I had to walk fast. Walk away to keep.

18:22 Speaker 2: My mind okay.

18:25 Speaker 16: But when I got back to the shop, the sign said stop. We're sold out now.

18:33 Speaker 11: Trouble at the donut shop. Trouble at the donut shop.

18:37 Speaker 4: Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble.

18:39 Speaker 7: At the donut shop.

18:41 Speaker 16: I stormed into the shop to see the reality.

18:49 Speaker 4: They said, we're really sold out.

18:52 Speaker 8: I said, what about the donuts right there?

18:57 Speaker 16: She said, those donuts are not for sale.

19:00 Speaker 13: But I grabbed them and ran out the door.

19:04 Speaker 11: Trouble at the donut shop. Trouble at the donut shop. Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble at the donut shop.

19:12 Speaker 16: Next thing I know, I was getting arrested for stealing the donut from the donut shop. I was so, so embarrassed, but I had a donut in my jacket.

19:26 Speaker 11: Ate it in the way to jail.

19:28 Speaker 7: Ha, ha, ha.

19:38 Speaker 6: So is this a true story?

19:40 Speaker 7: Yes. What do we call it? Autobiographical?

19:43 Speaker 6: Yes, yes.

19:44 Speaker 7: So this happened to me when I went to a donut shop.

19:47 Speaker 6: Okay.

19:48 Speaker 7: Oh, I love the way I've had a play in the back. yeah uh yeah it happened it's a true story it's embellished i did not get arrested but i did i walked into the donut shop and they had those white paper plate yeah stuck on there and it said we're sold out and i went.

20:07 Speaker 6: The indignity. That could even happen in America.

20:11 Speaker 7: Well, now, if I want to go to that particular donut shop, I've learned my lesson. You have to, if I can't remember where I'm saying this, but you have to go online before 8 o'clock.

20:21 Speaker 10: Oh.

20:21 Speaker 7: Put in your order. And then it's easy in, easy out. Or you could take the risk of going there. And sometimes there's a line. Should we give them a plug?

20:33 Speaker 6: The donut shop?

20:34 Speaker 7: The donut shop that this song is related to?

20:36 Speaker 6: If you want to.

20:37 Speaker 7: I don't know. Will they get mad? I mean, they're fantastic donuts.

20:40 Speaker 6: Why would they get mad?

20:41 Speaker 7: It's New Hampshire Donut Company in Bedford? Okay.

20:45 Speaker 6: Oh, right, right. You mentioned that before.

20:46 Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah. So I have been back there since. And where I work, they were so kind enough to give us donuts one day. And they were from the New Hampshire Donut Company. So I learned from them that I went there that weekend. And trouble at the donut shop came about.

21:03 Speaker 12: Mm-hmm.

21:03 Speaker 7: Okay. Very good.

21:04 Speaker 9: Yep.

21:04 Speaker 13: All right.

21:04 Speaker 6: And then we've got the next one.

21:06 Speaker 8: Yes.

21:06 Speaker 4: And this is.

21:07 Speaker 7: With that cat. This guy, Eyedrop, who I've been working with.

21:11 Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.

21:12 Speaker 7: And this is one of our first kind of endeavors that when we first got together, I was working on this. He listened to it. He said, you're out of your freaking mind.

21:20 Speaker 6: I use Eyedrops for my pigmentary glaucoma. It's a small world. It's like I know him. All right. Should we play the song?

21:29 Speaker 7: Let's play a little bit of it. All right.

21:30 Speaker 15: All right.

21:30 Speaker 17: Almond filled, Andre's mints, apple filled, apple crumb, apple fritter, baked glaze, banana cream, banana nut, bear crawler, black forest, blueberry cake, blueberry crumble, Boston cream, boxing batter, buttermilk, butterscotch, cannoli.

21:45 Speaker 18: Donut, caramel donut.

21:46 Speaker 7: Caramel Dutch, caramel.

21:48 Speaker 17: Glazed, carrot cake, cherry filled, cocoa, cocoa peanut butter, chocolate donut, chocolate chip, chocolate glazed, chocolate frosted, chocolate donut, chocolate sprinkles, and a churro.

21:59 Speaker 15: Do it, do it, do it.

22:00 Speaker 6: I do it and then you do it. Keep that rolling.

22:03 Speaker 7: Keep that rolling for a second. This is eye drop right now.

22:06 Speaker 11: Oh, oh.

22:06 Speaker 12: Scoot it, scoot it, scoot it.

22:08 Speaker 4: No moving, no undoing.

22:09 Speaker 9: I see bloopin', bloopin', bloopin'. I'm doing it and then.

22:12 Speaker 4: I'm losing it.

22:13 Speaker 6: Biking onto feeling like Kendrick and... All those donuts, though, you might end up with, you eat all those, you might end up with diabetes, or as Wilford Brimley used to say, diabetes.

22:24 Speaker 7: I'm down 35 pounds.

22:25 Speaker 6: Are you?

22:26 Speaker 19: Yeah.

22:27 Speaker 7: Well, not that you checked me out when I came in two years ago, but I was a little heavier then.

22:32 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.

22:33 Speaker 7: Just say, yeah, you look great. You look great. And you've lost some weight too.

22:37 Speaker 6: Have I?

22:37 Speaker 3: Yeah.

22:38 Speaker 6: Well, you know, I've been working out quite a bit.

22:40 Speaker 14: I don't know.

22:40 Speaker 6: I've only lost 34 pounds.

22:42 Speaker 7: Well, we're in the same thing. Yeah, yeah. We're trying to get better. We're trying to.

22:46 Speaker 6: Yeah.

22:46 Speaker 7: So going to a donut shop every day, probably not the greatest idea. What's your thoughts on gluten-free or what's the other one they have? They do make them, the gluten-free donuts. They're a little smaller, I noticed.

23:01 Speaker 6: Yeah. I don't know. I just don't eat sweets anymore.

23:04 Speaker 7: They do have a gluten-free vegan donut.

23:06 Speaker 15: They do?

23:07 Speaker 8: Yeah.

23:11 Speaker 9: Oh, listen.

23:11 Speaker 4: Okay, how many donuts are in the song? I do not know.

23:15 Speaker 17: Because there's got to be, what, at least 50, right? Maybe more?

23:18 Speaker 7: I don't know.

23:19 Speaker 4: I do not know, man. Did you go online and find a.

23:21 Speaker 7: List of donuts?

23:22 Speaker 3: Yes.

23:22 Speaker 9: Oh.

23:22 Speaker 6: Well, first I wrote out.

23:42 Speaker 7: Okay, got that off. Stop that off. I must have been all on sugar when I started trying to go solo. What do they call it? Acapella?

23:50 Speaker 6: Acapella, yeah.

23:50 Speaker 7: Is that right? I try to use every effect in the world to try to sound halfway decent.

23:56 Speaker 6: Oh, no, I think it's a great song. I'm just very unhealthy.

24:02 Speaker 7: Well, they do have the gluten-free, sugar-free. It tastes like a brick almost, but... What's the sense? If you're going to go in for a donut, go in for a donut.

24:12 Speaker 6: Am I right?

24:12 Speaker 4: Yeah.

24:14 Speaker 6: I mean, again, I would counsel.

24:16 Speaker 7: But since you live in a healthy lifestyle like I kind of am.

24:20 Speaker 6: I would counsel people to just not eat donuts.

24:21 Speaker 7: Yes.

24:22 Speaker 6: But that's me.

24:24 Speaker 7: No, no, no. I agree 100% with you.

24:25 Speaker 6: 100%.

24:26 Speaker 7: It's a lifestyle change almost, right? As far as trying to eat healthy?

24:30 Speaker 6: For some people. For me, like cutting out sugar was easy. I just said I'm done with it.

24:34 Speaker 7: No, that's my dump.

24:37 Speaker 14: Yeah.

24:37 Speaker 6: For most people, that's the case. That is the case.

24:40 Speaker 7: I'm okay. I can do without chips and I can do without Doritos and I can do without this and that and junk food in general.

24:47 Speaker 6: That's good.

24:49 Speaker 7: But do I get a Hershey bar in the fridge in the back corner knowing it's there? Is that okay to have a little.

24:57 Speaker 6: Everything in moderation, including moderation. Who said that? I can't remember.

25:00 Speaker 7: I believe that was Plato or Socrates.

25:04 Speaker 6: One of them. Confucius, I don't know. Or some actor. That's a line from a movie.

25:09 Speaker 7: Oh, really?

25:09 Speaker 6: Oh, what's this?

25:11 Speaker 7: This is Howard Notell.

25:13 Speaker 18: Do you think for one second the audacity of people to jump over a child during a baseball game to get a.

25:24 Speaker 4: Foul ball is a travesty?

25:26 Speaker 18: This has been happening all over America.

25:30 Speaker 4: The sports world.

25:31 Speaker 18: And especially at Major League Baseball.

25:35 Speaker 4: Fans, you should be ashamed of yourself.

25:40 Speaker 7: So I am honored as a prestigious announcer to give to you the song Foul Ball.

25:57 Speaker 4: The ball goes back. People stand up. Don't miss the.

26:01 Speaker 15: Call for the foul ball.

26:04 Speaker 4: The batter hits it back. Fans shout it out. Here it comes.

26:15 Speaker 15: Put up your thumbs.

26:18 Speaker 4: It's all just for fun. Kids' eyes get big.

26:26 Speaker 14: As the ball falls, the grown adult reaches over them all.

26:33 Speaker 4: The ball goes back. People stand up. Don't miss the.

26:37 Speaker 15: Call for the foul ball.

26:39 Speaker 4: The ball goes back. People stand up. Don't miss the.

26:44 Speaker 15: Call for the foul ball.

26:47 Speaker 4: What were they thinking? Taking the ball from those kids. But here comes another one.

26:56 Speaker 11: Hopefully the kids won't get overrun.

27:01 Speaker 4: But here comes that grown adult. He runs for the ball.

27:08 Speaker 11: Like a giant snowplow.

27:12 Speaker 4: He knocks over them all. Ball goes back. People stand up. Don't miss the.

27:19 Speaker 15: Call for the foul ball.

27:22 Speaker 4: Ball goes back. People stand up. Don't miss the.

27:27 Speaker 15: Call for the foul ball.

27:29 Speaker 14: There seems to be some sort of commotion over there.

27:33 Speaker 18: Section 17 and the foul ball.

27:37 Speaker 14: It seems that security is forcibly removing the fan who knocked over those precious young kids last inning and then just did it again, causing a lot of controversy, some hurt feelings in the dreams of those children crushed by that grown adult.

27:58 Speaker 4: Ball goes back. People stand up. Don't miss the call for the foul ball.

28:06 Speaker 6: Oh my goodness.

28:07 Speaker 7: That's off of Screamo sports songs. Part two, part of the Ricky Mapleton, silly row production universe of imagination productions.

28:15 Speaker 6: There's a part two.

28:17 Speaker 7: There's well, you know, I'm not trying to, well, yeah. Let's, can we talk about me?

28:23 Speaker 14: Yeah.

28:24 Speaker 4: Um, yeah.

28:24 Speaker 6: While you're here, why not? I guess.

28:30 Speaker 7: Um, yeah. So thank you.

28:34 Speaker 2: Sure.

28:35 Speaker 7: Um, so, um, The moniker that I promote is Silly Road Productions. Yes. And under that moniker, we have several artists that I put out music on.

28:48 Speaker 6: Okay.

28:49 Speaker 7: One of it, which seems to be my most popular, is the Screamo sports songs.

28:54 Speaker 6: Yes.

28:55 Speaker 7: So I put out Screamo sports songs one, and it got some halfway decent listens. Yeah, yeah. It was good. I was like, wow. So then I got with my... collaborator or one of them and said, let's do screamo sports songs too.

29:11 Speaker 6: Yeah.

29:12 Speaker 7: And people seem really seem to like it.

29:14 Speaker 6: Okay.

29:15 Speaker 7: You know, it's fun, fun stuff, celebrating sports throughout the Northeast or the universe or the universe.

29:23 Speaker 6: That's right.

29:23 Speaker 8: Yeah.

29:23 Speaker 7: So I kind of make fun of sports, but I kind of admire sports. I like this. I like there's a lot. There's a, it's, uh, We're watching, oh, we're watching, it looks like the marathon is over.

29:34 Speaker 9: Yeah.

29:35 Speaker 7: Yeah, I do have a song called Cross Country that's not on this list.

29:39 Speaker 8: Oh, oh.

29:40 Speaker 7: Sports Songs Part 1. Anyways, could we play? What do you want to play? Want to hear a little more Screamo?

29:46 Speaker 6: Sure.

29:46 Speaker 8: Yeah.

29:47 Speaker 7: So let's go to announcer guy introduces hockey fight.

29:51 Speaker 6: I feel like you weren't supposed to say, let's play announcer guy.

29:57 Speaker 7: Oh, we have a call. So, you know, we're suspending this. Oh, I lost the whole Andy Kaufman thing I'm going after, right?

30:05 Speaker 8: So....

30:07 Speaker 7: So anyway.

30:08 Speaker 4: So anyway.

30:08 Speaker 7: Welcome to my universe, Matt. I'm glad you could come along and the listeners. And by the way, hello again to the yard sale at Frost Street in Golfstown, New Hampshire. I hope the yard sale is going great. Again, hello to people. And you over there at the yard sale, I see you looking on table three. You can have that for free.

30:28 Speaker 6: No, no.

30:29 Speaker 7: You can have that. Hi, guys, at the yard sale.

30:32 Speaker 13: Anyways.

30:33 Speaker 6: I don't actually have a.

30:34 Speaker 7: You don't have a non-star guy?

30:36 Speaker 6: I do, but I don't seem to have the actual song.

30:38 Speaker 7: It says a non-star guy? And then Hockey Fight Song, number 11.

30:43 Speaker 6: Uh, I don't have, Oh, Oh, there it is. There it is.

30:45 Speaker 7: Okay. Okay. It just looked weird. Can we do announce the guy and then a little bit of hockey fight song?

30:50 Speaker 3: Yes.

30:51 Speaker 11: Yes.

30:51 Speaker 6: So your, your audition continues. Okay. So here it is. Announcer guys, which is you obviously, right? This is you trying to get that, that sweet radio job.

30:59 Speaker 7: Yes, sir.

31:00 Speaker 6: Tons of money in radio. I don't blame you. You're going to be rich.

31:03 Speaker 7: I hope so.

31:03 Speaker 6: All right, here we go. Let's check it out.

31:06 Speaker 19: From the Matt Connaughton studios in downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. I am proud to be on the Matt Connerton broadcast. And let me just say that Matt Connerton looks spectacular today. And now, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, the premiere song from the band Screamo. the internationally known song about one of the greatest sports in all entertainment, ladies and gentlemen, Hockey Fight!

32:05 Speaker 1: Five minutes for fighting your hockey body. Five minutes for fighting your hockey body. Five minutes for fighting your hockey body.

32:20 Speaker 2: I went to a hockey game and a fight broke out. They let them fight till they hit the ice.

32:34 Speaker 4: The gloves dropped.

32:35 Speaker 2: The fish swung. They both got their bell rung.

32:41 Speaker 4: The crowd went crazy. Even the babies.

32:45 Speaker 2: They went to the penalty box.

32:48 Speaker 4: Five minutes for fighting. Hockey party. Wow.

32:52 Speaker 6: All right, I don't know anything about hockey because I don't know anything about sports. When you say five minutes for fighting, do you mean the fight lasts five minutes?

32:58 Speaker 4: No.

32:59 Speaker 7: Usually, if you fight in hockey, which is unbelievable, they let you fight in hockey until you hit the ice in the pros.

33:07 Speaker 6: Yeah.

33:07 Speaker 7: The fans love it. Oh, yeah. What a country.

33:10 Speaker 6: Well, it's like auto racing, right?

33:12 Speaker 7: So then after you fight somebody, then you get five minutes for fighting in the penalty box.

33:17 Speaker 6: Okay.

33:18 Speaker 7: So it's five minutes for fighting, hockey five minutes.

33:21 Speaker 6: Okay, I'm not even kidding when I say this. I finally, after what, 20 years of this band existing, I finally know where the name Five for Fighting comes from. You know the band Five for Fighting?

33:34 Speaker 7: No.

33:34 Speaker 6: I think they had one big hit, that song, Over My Head.

33:38 Speaker 7: I would dream about having one big hit.

33:40 Speaker 6: Now I know where the name comes from, Five for Fighting. I never knew.

33:43 Speaker 7: Oh, does the song talk about hockey?

33:46 Speaker 6: No, the song Over My Head, it's a relationship song. But now I know where the band name comes from.

33:52 Speaker 7: But there you go. This is available on Screamer Sports on Spark, too. And hello to... So let's move on. Can we?

34:01 Speaker 13: Can we?

34:01 Speaker 6: We have a call.

34:14 Speaker 6: Thank you.

34:15 Speaker 4: This is English-y longtime call-up.

34:18 Speaker 10: Oh, let me just say that seeing you brightens.

34:23 Speaker 4: My day, Matt Connaughton.

34:25 Speaker 7: Wow.

34:26 Speaker 4: Oh, you're fabulous and wonderful.

34:29 Speaker 7: Oh, not to take anything away from you, Ricky Mapleton. Well, thank you.

34:34 Speaker 4: So I am.

34:36 Speaker 10: Going to go to a garage sale today on.

34:49 Speaker 10: See me there, make sure you get your 50% off coupon that I have just because you heard me on the spectacular Matt Connaughton show.

35:01 Speaker 4: Ooh, Matt, ooh, I'll let you get on with your program.

35:06 Speaker 7: Mmm.

35:07 Speaker 15: Wow.

35:08 Speaker 16: Bye.

35:08 Speaker 7: Bye, Englishie. Thanks for calling.

35:09 Speaker 6: My goodness. Certainly not all British women sound like that.

35:13 Speaker 7: I don't know. That sounded like Mrs. Doubtfire a little.

35:16 Speaker 11: Right?

35:16 Speaker 6: Oh, was that, uh, yeah, I don't know. She did sound like she had a cake on her face.

35:22 Speaker 7: I don't, she's called him before.

35:23 Speaker 6: She has.

35:25 Speaker 7: She called into my show many times.

35:26 Speaker 3: Yes.

35:27 Speaker 8: Yes.

35:27 Speaker 7: I have a, I have maybe five loyal listeners right now.

35:30 Speaker 4: Oh, wow.

35:31 Speaker 7: That's pretty good.

35:31 Speaker 6: That's great.

35:32 Speaker 7: Um, can we, can I go back and talk about, I dropped for a little bit?

35:35 Speaker 18: Oh, of course.

35:35 Speaker 20: Yeah.

35:35 Speaker 7: So this, so this guy, I drop, I've been working with, uh, Do you have number 12 or number 14?

35:46 Speaker 6: Let's see here.

35:47 Speaker 7: Can You Hear Me or Rock Doesn't Lie?

35:50 Speaker 6: I have both of those. Okay.

35:53 Speaker 7: Can we play a little bit? So what is this? This is my new. Oh, can I be all cool?

35:58 Speaker 4: Yeah.

35:59 Speaker 7: My new release.

36:00 Speaker 14: Oh, wow.

36:00 Speaker 7: It's called Rock Don't Lie. I Dance Like I Got Two Left Feet. is the name of my new collection. And I worked with this guy, iDrop, on like four or five of the songs on it. And I just want to, I'm kind of, you know, I always try something new and I really, I kind of dig what's going on here. So big shout out to iDrop. He's available on YouTube and he's really cool. And it's a little shift in where I usually go, but can you play a little bit of 12? Can you hear me?

36:29 Speaker 6: Yeah, so you mentioned, so these are new? These are from your new release?

36:33 Speaker 7: The new release called I Dance Like I Got Two Left Feet.

36:36 Speaker 9: Oh.

36:37 Speaker 7: The rock doesn't lie. This is a dancing chicken on the front cover.

36:40 Speaker 6: Yeah.

36:41 Speaker 7: And it's a lot of, it's same but new but different. You know, always trying something to entertain myself.

36:49 Speaker 6: Do you want me to play that one first?

36:50 Speaker 7: Yeah, this is a little of Can't You Hear Me? And this is Eyedrop with me.

36:52 Speaker 6: Oh, can you hear me? You want me to play that one?

36:54 Speaker 7: Okay.

36:55 Speaker 6: And this is a world premiere.

36:57 Speaker 7: Yes.

36:57 Speaker 6: I think you deserve the world premiere bumper. You are listening to WMNH 95.3.

37:01 Speaker 7: World premiere.

37:01 Speaker 4: Do you hear me?

37:02 Speaker 9: Do you hear me?

37:18 Speaker 16: I hear you too.

37:24 Speaker 15: Yeah.

37:27 Speaker 9: I won't let you get away from me. I remember every word that you say to me. And then lately, I've been patiently waiting for the day that you lay with me. We would have a good time, make a brand new song. Cause I love your vocals and I love your lines. I'm in my prime and I do not mind if you take me away to the end of time. Do you hear me? I listen to you. You don't listen to me. And what I'm going through doesn't matter to you. I'm just bad in the truth. I go right in the booth when I talk about you got me on a limestone slab.

38:07 Speaker 9: I'm face down when I break down. I'm nobody in a brand new town. And I'm looking around, but my girl ain't found. I look left, right, up, and down. Life feels gray like the rainstorm clouds. Rain starts falling and I just might drown. Cause I'm up to my neck, but you're up most proud.

38:26 Speaker 19: Yeah.

38:28 Speaker 15: Yeah.

38:31 Speaker 7: Saw my baby just the other day. I said, hey baby, baby, now what do you say?

38:35 Speaker 6: She said, I'm Yeah, I like it.

38:37 Speaker 19: Yeah?

38:38 Speaker 8: Cool?

38:38 Speaker 6: Cool vibe? Yeah, yeah. I like this eyedrop.

38:42 Speaker 7: Yeah, very cool. Yeah, he's... It's good to work with different artists, you know?

38:47 Speaker 2: Yeah.

38:48 Speaker 7: I got my little core of people that I work with. Eyedrop, I've known for a good couple years, and we just started to get together a couple months ago, maybe?

38:54 Speaker 8: So....

38:58 Speaker 4: Wow.

38:59 Speaker 7: Isn't that just so... Whoa.

39:00 Speaker 6: Just hearing him lowers my eye pressure.

39:02 Speaker 7: That's his gig, man.

39:04 Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.

39:04 Speaker 7: I drop his chillin'. Be chillin', as they say. Yes. And it's just... That kind of gives you a chill, right?

39:09 Speaker 9: A little?

39:10 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.

39:10 Speaker 9: Kind of?

39:11 Speaker 7: That's hard to find in music, that music. I get a chill listening to it. Yeah. And I've worked with this for a long time. But anyway, so... The.

39:21 Speaker 13: The.

39:21 Speaker 7: The... The song, Rock Doesn't Lie, this is kind of, if you want to play it.

39:30 Speaker 6: Also with him?

39:31 Speaker 7: Yes. I did four songs with him. The other two didn't come over, it looks like.

39:35 Speaker 6: Let's play.

39:36 Speaker 7: Can we play a little bit from Rock Doesn't Lie? The name of the new collection is called I guess I got two left feet. Rock doesn't lie.

39:47 Speaker 6: Okay.

39:48 Speaker 7: So this is a pretty long song, but let's just play a little taste of it, please. All right. This is with eyedrop as well. A little heavier.

39:59 Speaker 4: Rock don't lie. Rock don't lie.

40:02 Speaker 15: Rock don't lie.

40:10 Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm not a rock star, closer to a rapper. Eating Pop-Tarts, taking off the wrapper. In the Raptors, I'm a Raptor. Cause I'm not smart, spitting heat, this rap burns. If you can see me, then I must be getting clear. I've been nearer to my fear, now it's appearing in the mirror. I ain't past it, but the pressure getting to me. Make a diamond, I know it's corny, and it's been said about a hundred times. And now I'm writing on these beats like there ain't nothing left to lose. And there ain't no other reason, except I do it cause I choose to.

40:42 Speaker 9: I'll fight for this until my body covered up in bruises. It's a battle I'ma have my way, I'll never lose.

40:49 Speaker 12: I've been locking in, been making 50 songs in just a week, and now it seems I've entered my own peak. I'm 50-50 Greek and French-Canadian, and now American.

41:01 Speaker 6: I'm from the East.

41:08 Speaker 7: Wow.

41:08 Speaker 6: I like it.

41:09 Speaker 15: Epic.

41:10 Speaker 6: I like it.

41:11 Speaker 7: That's a little out of iDrop's pocket.

41:14 Speaker 3: Yeah.

41:15 Speaker 7: So when he came over and we started working on stuff, I'm more into 150, 175 beats per minute.

41:23 Speaker 3: Yeah.

41:23 Speaker 7: He's probably... Not his pocket, but his vibe is more 100 beats per minute. Okay. That other song we played.

41:30 Speaker 6: Yeah.

41:32 Speaker 7: Yeah, so... This goes on for a while. It's just kind of like my attempt at my rock anthem. Rock, don't lie.

41:38 Speaker 6: Right, right.

41:39 Speaker 7: Matt, how much time we got?

41:41 Speaker 6: We got. The hour grows late, but we still have a little bit of time.

41:48 Speaker 7: So can I maybe... I've been playing.

41:55 Speaker 6: Yeah, go ahead. I'll fade that out.

41:59 Speaker 7: It's so good.

42:00 Speaker 4: Oh, no, it is.

42:01 Speaker 7: I don't want to say it's so good. It's just fun.

42:03 Speaker 8: No, it is.

42:04 Speaker 6: It is good. It is good. You should be proud of it.

42:09 Speaker 7: Okay, so my new thing I've been playing around with a little bit is this harmonica.

42:16 Speaker 6: Okay.

42:18 Speaker 7: I would say I'm at a junior high level.

42:21 Speaker 6: Okay. So you can play like David Lee Roth plays harmonica?

42:25 Speaker 2: Okay.

42:25 Speaker 6: Like that?

42:26 Speaker 7: Okay. So, Matt, I would like to make up a song with you right now.

42:33 Speaker 17: Really?

42:34 Speaker 7: Okay.

42:34 Speaker 6: Okay.

42:35 Speaker 7: So do you see that track on there that says harmonica?

42:38 Speaker 6: Yeah, I've got to load it up.

42:39 Speaker 7: Okay. This is called a, I believe the newer cool kids call this a beat?

42:44 Speaker 4: Yeah.

42:45 Speaker 15: Okay.

42:45 Speaker 7: Have you heard of beats?

42:46 Speaker 9: Yeah.

42:46 Speaker 3: Yeah.

42:47 Speaker 6: That's what the young people say.

42:48 Speaker 7: Well, there, do you know, there's a whole universe of beats, like the beat star or beat. There's a whole thing. And people, people buy beats and they sing over the beats.

42:58 Speaker 4: Yep.

42:59 Speaker 8: Yep.

42:59 Speaker 6: It's bloom, but licensing beats.

43:01 Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.

43:03 Speaker 7: But you can't, I just found it fascinating.

43:07 Speaker 15: Yeah.

43:07 Speaker 7: And I drop kind of turned me on to what beats are. I'm like this. I'm like, what people are releasing stuff. Just beats.

43:15 Speaker 6: Yeah.

43:16 Speaker 7: And so a lot of artists are using beats, paying for the beats through this platform, and then putting vocals over it.

43:26 Speaker 3: Yeah.

43:27 Speaker 7: What does Ricky Mapleton say? Wow. I'm going to start making some beats.

43:31 Speaker 12: Mm-hmm.

43:32 Speaker 7: Now, my beats are a lot different than the beats that are, I don't say different, but just, what do they call them? Soundscapes? Soundscapes?

43:40 Speaker 6: That's a good word. I've heard the term soundscape before.

43:43 Speaker 7: So I picked up the harmonica. One night, I've been playing around a little bit with the harmonica. If this is... Well, never mind. I'm not going to... If this is horrible, I just would like to try.

43:55 Speaker 8: Okay.

43:55 Speaker 7: I'd like to try this, and we're going to talk about what happened here today. And, Matt, this is totally... A lot of my stuff, as you guys know, listening, is planned out and fabricated. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. This is live. I didn't talk to Matt about this. So, sink or swim, we're going to try to.

44:15 Speaker 6: So just so we're clear, so we're going to play this beat that you made?

44:17 Speaker 7: Yes, it has harmonica in it. It has drums. It has my beautiful Fender Precision, which I love so much. I wish I could play it. Anyways, yeah, so it's drums, bass. I'm going to play over it with the harmonica, stopping it, and maybe trying to do some words with Matt Connerton. Wow.

44:35 Speaker 4: Wow.

44:35 Speaker 7: Okay.

44:36 Speaker 6: Okay. All right. Are you ready?

44:38 Speaker 7: I don't... Give me.

44:41 Speaker 14: Ready?

44:42 Speaker 7: Hang on. Okay.

44:44 Speaker 6: You're in tune?

44:45 Speaker 7: Well, harmonic is weird, man.

44:47 Speaker 6: All right.

44:48 Speaker 7: But I think I have a little knack for it. I think.

44:51 Speaker 13: Okay.

44:52 Speaker 7: In my mind, I'm... I don't know. Okay. Let's just get Matt. Say, come on, Ricky. You can do this.

45:01 Speaker 6: Come on, Ricky. You can do this.

45:02 Speaker 7: This is called the Matt Connerton song.

45:05 Speaker 15: Oh, wow.

45:06 Speaker 7: World premiere. Never been done before. This is it. This is real stuff. So this is actual creativity in the moment.

45:16 Speaker 6: Oh, this is a world premiere. Hold on.

45:17 Speaker 13: Well, you are listening to WMNH 95.3.

45:22 Speaker 7: World premiere. So this song, ladies and gentlemen, is off a reel. It's not out yet, but I'm playing the harmonica over the harmonica and drums and a bass line. Then I'm going to stop, and I'm going to try to sing and go back and forth with the harmonica, talking about Matt Connerton. Okay. Okay, how's that sound?

45:46 Speaker 6: Sounds great.

45:47 Speaker 7: Okay, let's rock. All right, here we go.

45:54 Speaker 5: Thank you.

46:30 Speaker 13: I'm on the Matt Connaughton Show. I'm on the Matt Connaughton Show.

46:37 Speaker 4: He's so good.

46:39 Speaker 13: Matt Connaughton. I love being on the Matt Connaughton Show.

46:43 Speaker 4: Come on!

46:45 Speaker 5: I'm on the Matt Connaughton Show.

46:58 Speaker 20: Matt Connaughton, he's a real cool dude. Has honors on every Saturday. He's really promoting the arts. I love Matt Connaughton. I love Matt Connaughton. I love Matt Connaughton.

47:17 Speaker 7: Come on.

47:32 Speaker 13: Matt Connaughton, he's so cool.

47:35 Speaker 4: He ain't nobody's fool. Matt Connaughton, he's out of sight.

47:42 Speaker 7: He's looking so good. Matt Connaughton. Matt Connaughton.

47:51 Speaker 4: Matt Connaughton. Matt Connaughton.

47:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

47:58 Speaker 4: Matt Connaughton.

48:18 Speaker 21: Matt Connaughton, yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying. He's cool like gravy, smooth like cream. He likes his oatmeal with blueberries. He's not eating donuts anymore, no, no, no. Matt Connaughton broadcast.

48:39 Speaker 6: Wow, that was something. That was something.

48:42 Speaker 7: It was something already.

48:44 Speaker 6: And I'll tell you, too, of all the harmonica-based songs that I've ever heard, that was by far the most recent.

48:49 Speaker 7: How many harmonica-based songs have you heard?

48:51 Speaker 4: I don't know.

48:52 Speaker 7: Probably not.

48:53 Speaker 6: I'm thinking.

48:54 Speaker 7: Wow.

48:55 Speaker 4: Okay.

48:56 Speaker 7: Wow.

48:57 Speaker 4: Wow.

48:58 Speaker 6: No, that was excellent. Thank you. That was wonderful. That was wonderful. I appreciate that. I appreciate the song.

49:03 Speaker 2: Wow.

49:04 Speaker 7: Okay.

49:05 Speaker 8: Wow.

49:05 Speaker 7: Thank you. That was.

49:07 Speaker 19: Wow.

49:08 Speaker 6: Okay.

49:09 Speaker 7: I feel... Okay. Okay. I need to take a breath.

49:13 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah. Well, you know, there's a lot of, uh, you know, you've really got to have your, uh, your lungs, your lungs have to be in good shape.

49:19 Speaker 7: I really try to zone in on the, on the whole thing.

49:22 Speaker 6: Yes.

49:23 Speaker 13: Yes.

49:23 Speaker 7: Wow.

49:24 Speaker 4: Wow.

49:24 Speaker 6: Well, we are, uh, so Ricky, we are running out of time. So, you know, we will play a song to close out the segment, of course.

49:33 Speaker 7: But, uh, what do you, what, what, what gets your, uh, What gets your interest from what we have left here? Bet, bet, bet is good.

49:40 Speaker 6: Oh, you had mentioned that to me off air, too, that you wanted to make sure we got that one in. Maybe we should end with that.

49:46 Speaker 2: Okay, sure.

49:47 Speaker 13: You want?

49:47 Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah. There's some other songs on there. There's a song called Chair Song, Air Fryer Song, off, which is kind of more simple, more simplistic, rough, but people are listening to it. You know, you don't have to make a Bohemian Rhapsody to make people dig your music. I sort of kind of found out recently.

50:06 Speaker 6: Right.

50:06 Speaker 7: I mean, you can make this beautiful, complex work of art, and it sounds wonderful. People are going to listen to. They don't care. I mean, not that they don't care. People just want to hear what makes them like.

50:19 Speaker 6: It doesn't have to be much.

50:20 Speaker 7: Like the chair song, air fryer song, and bet, bet, bet. Okay.

50:24 Speaker 6: Bet, bet, bet is probably relevant, too, because if the radio thing doesn't work out that you've been auditioning for, and you do get into podcasting, you're going to want a good sports betting... Uh, sponsor.

50:35 Speaker 7: Let's go.

50:36 Speaker 8: Yeah.

50:36 Speaker 9: Yeah.

50:36 Speaker 6: There you go. Uh, where, but before we do that, where should people go online? Everywhere, everywhere, everywhere.

50:42 Speaker 7: You are, you are a YouTube, Amazon, uh, all your major platforms.

50:48 Speaker 6: Yes.

50:48 Speaker 7: I'm the Ricky Mapleton galaxy of stars.

50:51 Speaker 11: Yes.

50:51 Speaker 7: Do you know what that's from? The Ricky Mapleton Galaxies. Remember the song? The thing you do? Familiar. Remember the movie?

50:58 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.

50:59 Speaker 7: You will play something from blah, blah, blah, Galaxy of Stars.

51:03 Speaker 8: Ah.

51:04 Speaker 6: Do you remember that movie? Yes, I do remember that, yeah.

51:06 Speaker 7: Okay, sorry. I'm losing track.

51:07 Speaker 6: No, it's a great film.

51:08 Speaker 7: Oh, my God.

51:09 Speaker 6: Great film.

51:10 Speaker 7: Yeah, fantastic.

51:11 Speaker 6: Absolutely. Absolutely.

51:13 Speaker 7: There's an extended version of that where it talks more about Tom Hanks, the manager, Oh, really? More digs into that. His side of his reality.

51:23 Speaker 6: Oh, okay.

51:24 Speaker 15: Yeah, okay.

51:24 Speaker 7: So, Bet, Bet, Bet. Here's a warning song. Don't bet if you can't afford to. But you can bet on anything now, right, Matt?

51:31 Speaker 6: Oh, my God, yeah.

51:32 Speaker 7: So that's what this song's about. You can bet on anything. And this was the inspiration for Screamo Sports Songs Part 1, Bet, Bet, Bet.

51:39 Speaker 6: All right, here it is.

51:41 Speaker 7: Was that a good intro?

51:42 Speaker 6: Absolutely. That was excellent. You're hired. Yay! The great Ricky Mapleton. Here it is.

51:46 Speaker 7: Bet, Bet, Bet.

51:48 Speaker 4: Fishy, fishy, hook, hook. Fishy, fishy, hook, hook. Fishy, fishy, hook, hook. We love fishing.

51:57 Speaker 6: That is not it.

51:58 Speaker 7: No, maybe I.

51:59 Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what it's labeled.

52:01 Speaker 7: There's one on seven and there's one on nine. That was a good song. That was called Fishy, Fishy, Hook, Hook.

52:06 Speaker 6: Oh, you're right. Nine is also labeled Bet, Bet, Bet.

52:08 Speaker 7: Okay, my mistake.

52:10 Speaker 4: Me bad.

52:11 Speaker 7: Hey, you know, there you go.

52:12 Speaker 6: With apologies to Paul.

52:13 Speaker 7: But that was called Fishy, Fishy, Hook, Hook.

52:16 Speaker 6: That sounds like a good one. So with apologies to Polymarket or any other potential future sponsors. All right, here it is. Bat, bat, bat. Ricky Mapleton.
